Raymond Paul Gardner was called to heaven on April 25th, 2022 at Christ hospital at the age of 56. Ray was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 20th 1965. He also spent many of his younger years in Madison, Indiana
He leaves behind his wife Sandy Gardner whom he was married to for 23 amazing years. He leaves behind his father Raymond T Gardner and step mom Barbara Gardner.
He was also raised by an amazing man John (Maxine) Jackson. He was preceded in death by his mother Linda J Puckett, his brother Doug Benge, two brothers-in-law Troy Cox and Kevin Learn, and his stepmom Teresa Jackson.
He was an amazing father to Daniel Hunt, Sean (Kelsey) Smith, Ashley (William) Nieman, Austin (Emily) Gardner. He adored his grandchildren Maddox, Julian, Arabella, Opie, Lucas, Willow, and a new grandbaby on the way. He leaves behind his sisters-in-law Debbie Learn, Judy (Darby) Parks, Cindy (Doug) Glover, and Amanda Kay. He is also survived by his wonderful nieces and nephews Candice, Jenny, Raven, Courtney, Justin, Joey, Jonathan, Tommy, Koty, Daniel, and John. He leaves behind many wonderful aunts and uncles. He also leaves behind a very special group of friends who were like family Ned, Kathy, Heather, Peggy, Jay, and Laura.
Ray was extremely into paracording and he loved babysitting his grandkids. He was always there for anyone who needed him and always had a big smile on his face. He will truly be missed by all!
Visitation will be at Clepper Funeral Home, 2961 Madison Rd, Oakley on Saturday April 30th from 11:00 AM to 12:30 pm. People will be invited to share memories at 12:30. Following the celebration of life there will be a reception to follow (check back here for details on that location)
